


Loquats are an absolute treat! They are small, yellow-orange, subtropical fruit with a sweet, tangy flavour (similar to apricot or peach). It's native to East Asia but Spanish farmers successfully managed grow it in the warmer parts of the country. Loquats are often called a Japanese plum. The have smooth skin (it's edible but you can peel it), large seeds, and are enjoyed fresh or in jams.
