You're in good company! We welcome up to 80 volunteers each week who collectively form the heart of our farm.

Whether you can offer a few hours or regular sessions, there’s a place for you here.

No long-term commitment is required – you can book sessions that fit your schedule through our online rota system.

Choose from a range of activities

Work inside our barn weighing, portioning, and packing fresh fruit and veg to deliver to our customers


  • Tuesdays: 8.30am - 12pm | 1pm - 4pm
  • Wednesdays: 8.30am - 12pm | 1pm - 4pm
  • Thursdays: 8.30am - 12pm


Join us in the fields and polytunnels for sowing, planting, maintenance, and harvesting


  • Wednesdays: 9am - 12pm | 1pm - 4pm
  • Tuesdays: 9am - 1pm
  • Saturdays: 10am - 1pm | 2pm – 5pm (Twice a month April-October / Once a month November-March)


We offer a specialised session designed for adults with autism and/or learning disabilities


  • Mondays 9.30am - 12pm
  • A small group with high staff-to-volunteer ratios
  • Quiet, therapeutic activities during less busy times
  • £30 per session – email us for details

A few task force teams that help out with various activities around the farm


  • Veg box bag sorting (Mondays 8.30am - 10am): Help organise returned customer bags
  • Laying the groundwork (Mondays 1pm - 4pm): Crop work including bed clearing, composting, bramble clearing and weeding
  • DIY and maintenance (Thursdays 1pm - 4pm): Mostly fixing broken things or building new things – no prior experience needed!

  • Ages 8-17 are welcome to volunteer with adult supervision
  • Children under 8 can participate in open days and community events, but can’t volunteer
  • Email us to learn more about opportunities for young people
